We are open for business Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. eastern standard time. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and all Government holidays. We do have a message machine that is on 24 hours a day for your convenience. In compliance with AAFES and the Department of Defense, Byrrd is now part of the SBR/Retek System, making it necessary for orders to be sent through EDI. For a limited time, we can still accept DO numbers.
We only pay standard UPS shipping charges. We DO NOT PAY for Next Day, 2nd Day or other shipping rates. If requested by the store, we can, and will ship at the special rates but the store must pay the difference in cost. 3% of the invoice will be charged for all OVER-SEAS shipments. THESE TERMS ARE FOR AAFES ACCOUNTS ONLY!
We DO NOT have an account with Fed-Ex. We are not allowed to call them for the pick-up of packages; this must be done by the store. We will be happy to provide you with the information needed (such as address, contact person, and the weight and number of packages) to call in your pick-up.
WE HAVE REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 10 ITEMS TO SHIP! NO EXCEPTIONS!
SPECIAL ORDERS: We can only accept special orders from publishers we normally buy from. We will be happy to assist you if we can, by providing a phone number for publishers we don't have an account with.
We have deleted some titles because they don't do well. If a title is missing from our list, please ask us about it. We may be able to get it for you, even if we no longer carry it.
ALL SPECIAL ORDERS ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
RETURNS: Please remember, we always accept returns on our books. It is not necessary to obtain an RA number. If you need cost prices and it isn't listed on this site, give us a call. We will be happy to supply you with the necessary information.
Please be aware, WE DO NOT PAY RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES. Please be sure to package your returns in a manner that will ensure safe shipping.

All of our titles are available at your closest Military Clothing & Sales Store. We encourage our customers to go through their MCSS whenever possible, as they will receive a discounted Military sell price and avoid paying any shipping charges.
If you are not near a Military installation, you may purchase the item(s) through us, however we must charge the full list price plus shipping and handling. To obtain a listing of prices, please refer to our Complete Price Listing .

If paying by Government Credit Card, please fill out our Credit Card Form . In order to protect everyone from credit fraud, we require this form to be filled out via fax so that we have a copy of your signature on file. The fax number to send the form back to is 703-768-4086.
Shipping for 1 book is $2.50. Please add $1.00 for each additional item purchased. This covers GROUND shipping only! If you need the items sent 2nd Day or over-night, you will have to pay the entire shipping amount.
Orders are usually filled either the same day, or the day after the order is received, to ensure prompt delivery.

Our terms are as follows:

DISCOUNT: We offer a discount of 20-35% depending on the title, off the list price.
SHIPPING: The customer pays all shipping costs.
PAYMENTS: Our terms are Net 30 days. Your first shipment will be pre-paid, and a credit application must be completed and returned in advance of shipment.
DROP SHIPMENTS: We do not drop ship.
RETURNS: We accept returns for six (6) months, only if the books are in perfect condition. We do not accept stripped books. A packing list (including quantities, titles and purchase price) must accompany all returns. Proof of purchase (invoice information) must also accompany returns.
Transportation charges on returns to Byrrd Enterprises, Inc. MUST BE pre-paid by the customer, any collect shipments will be refused.
Books must be returned in whole and saleable condition. Books we deem unsaleable will not be credited and will be returned at the customer's expense.

CLAIMS: Claims for books for which an account has been billed, but which have not been received by the account must be made within 5 days after receipt of the original invoice. Claims made after 15 days from receipt of original invoice will not be honored.
